Whether this will be your only tattoo or the start of many, I am so glad you are here and welcome! This is a safe space to ask questions and understand what it means to get a tattoo. Feel free to use the contact page for general questions if you are uncertain or not ready to book a consultation or tattoo appointment. Consultations with me, though not always required, are great to discuss your ideas/designs before booking a tattoo appointment. It is important that I am the artist for you, as there are certain styles I don’t do and will refer out on. Welcome to the wonderful world of body art!

Consultations aren’t always necessary but can be requested when filling out the booking form. They are designated time that allows us to discuss your ideas, clarify expectations, and plan for design, cost, and scheduling—they are especially helpful for large, bold, multi-session pieces, which are my specialty. Consultations require a $25 deposit for up to an hour, and the fee goes toward your tattoo if you decide to move forward.

Yes — but pain is relative and everyone experiences it differently. Some clients describe it as a “hot cat scratch” or simply “spicy!” If tattoos were unbearable, no one would get them. You’ve got this! It always helps to go into your Zen mode with a favorite music playlist or podcast.

You’ll receive personalized aftercare instructions on the day of your appointment. I may use different bandages depending on the tattoo’s placement, size, or allergies you have.
Please see my detailed aftercare section on my website for reference. In short: keep it clean, wash your hand before touching it, don’t over-moisturize, and don’t overthink it. If you have questions, I’m always here to help and support you through the healing process!

Please refrain. If you show up intoxicated, I’ll send you home and reschedule — your deposit will be forfeited for lost time and business.
Alcohol can stay in your system for up to 12 hours, sometimes longer depending on how much you drank, your size, and tolerance. It thins your blood, which makes tattooing more difficult and less effective. You’ll bleed more, lose ink, and waste both our time. Please come sober and hydrated!

No — please reschedule. Getting tattooed while your immune system is compromised isn’t safe. Your body needs its strength and immune system in good working condition to heal the tattoo properly, and it can’t do that while fighting off illness. Plus, I’d prefer not to get sick myself — thank you for being considerate!

Alaska state law requires all clients to be 18 years or older, regardless of parental consent. No exceptions — you cannot be a minor and must be at least 18 to get tattooed.
-
Yes! On the day of your appointment, you’ll need to bring a government-issued photo ID, such as a state-issued driver’s license or passport.
-
No. I only offer tattoo services at Vibrant Color.
-
Yes, absolutely! I place high importance on maintaining sterility through my tattooing process to prevent infections and complications. Please communicate with me regarding preexisting conditions related to skin, immune system, or allergies you may have.
-
Every tattoo has the potential to fade; however, certain areas of the body have higher propensity to do so. I will communicate with you if I feel this is of concern. For keeping your tattoo its brightest with longest lasting results, use high SPF sunscreen.
-
Yes, absolutely! I enjoy doing cover ups and would love to work with you. I strongly recommend initially scheduling a consultation to assess your current tattoo and discuss options for covering it up with a new, revitalized piece of body art!
-
It is very rare, but not impossible. I use hypoallergenic and cutting-edge ink by Eternal Ink. Everyone’s physiology is different. If you had a prior allergy, please inform me in the allergy section of the booking form.
-
Yes! I ask that you bring only one guest with you if choosing to have company for support. I have a small room, and it can get cramped fast. Please do not bring children or pets.
-
If there is a requested tattoo that I don’t feel is my style or I could not deliver to client expectations, I may refer out or recommend another artist for which is it better aligned. I refuse to tattoo any racist, homophobic, or otherwise oppressive imagery and firmly reserve the right to refuse service.
