Hi, I’m Leslie Swonger!
Owner of Vibrant Color in Anchorage, Alaska. While Vibrant Color is my personal business, and I am part of the shop Elegant Lines Artist Collective.

How It Started — Tattooing has been my dream career since I was 13, and I’ve been working professionally in the field since 2011. While I enjoy exploring other artistic mediums, tattooing is the one that truly fulfills me. I see it as one of the most timeless and impactful forms of art—a way to express identity, honor personal journeys, and create lasting beauty. Whether a tattoo offers closure, inspiration, or simply serves as stunning decoration, I’m deeply honored to help bring those visions to life, one piece at a time.

A Little About Me — I was born in Southern California and moved to Anchorage, Alaska at age 11. I’ve called it home ever since and absolutely love it here. I’m a fan of bold flavors: tacos are my all-time favorite (the spicier, the better. I want to cry but still taste the flavor!) and I have a soft spot for Thai red curry with its rich, fiery kick. I share life with my amazing wife and our dog, Copper (see photo!). When I’m not tattooing, you’ll often find me unwinding with a good video game.
